Description

A grouping of one large, relatively close Galaxy (50 million light-years) and several smaller galaxies 10 times more distant. The more distant galaxies are visibly reddened.

This is sometimes presented as very bright, almost glowing. I think that is to better show the glow of dust near the core but out of the plane of rotation. I chose to keep the brightness in a range that allowed more color to come through on the arms.

Interestingly, the core of this galaxy is counter-rotating compared to the arms.
