We have finally been getting some good weather in NC after a bad imaging summer!
I imaged 2/3 of this with my L-Extreme Filter and 1/3 with my OIII to try to bring out a little more blue.
This was done all on my OSC.
Melotte 15 - This is the center of the Heart Nebula or IC-1805 in the center is a cluster of stars known as
Melotte 15, some these stars are as much as 50 mass of our sun. The radiation pressure from this light are
eroding the denser parts of it, seen here as lumpy cone and pillar shaped objects.

It was published in 1915 as
A Catalogue of Star Clusters. The catalogue contains 245 objects:
161 open clusters, 81 globular clusters, 2 asterisms, and 1 galaxy.
