Description

Here's what almost 2 hours of H-alpha data with an asi2600mm pro on a RASA 8 from a bortle 8 sky and over 80% illuminated moon looks like. All that was done is a very slight crop to remove stacking artifacts and a light pollution correction in APP to remove the moon gradient. I'm surprised at the amount of detail that showed up considering that this is only in H-alpha. The only thing I would like to do is some noise reduction, which sadly APP doesn't have at this time, and to be honest, I'm too lazy at the moment to load it into another program to do it. Once I can get some RGB data with my 294mc pro, I plan to combine the images using this image as a luminance channel. That's when I'll take the time this image deserves to be picky about post processing and do all the steps properly. But I thought this one was very interesting none the less. Once I have a final image, I'll upload it as a revision. Hope you enjoy!
