Description

An experimental shot with the ASI2600MC on the FLT132 and a 2x Powermate. Trying to see if the Powermate can make the 132 into a better Galaxy Hunter at 1800mm FL. Not "recommended" for DSO, but ultimately for me it's the image you can make that matters. The only issue is that the heavy Powermate and camera are only held in by a twist lock and can slide out if not super secured - not the best arrangement. An interesting comparison to my previous M81 with the 2600MM without the Powermate. Crop or extend? Personally, I always want more pixels, if possible. An interesting experiment🙂.
