Description

M3 is a globular cluster in constellation Canes Venatici. It sits above the galactic plane roughly 33.000 light-years away from us. M3 contains over 500.000 stars packed in a small area of space most of them older than the Sun. I took this image from my backyard using relatively short exposures and low gain in order to maintain as much as I could the star colors. To battle light pollution a 2'' Optolong L-PRO was used.
