Description

47 Tucanae, also designated NGC 104, is a globular cluster located in the Southern constellation Tucana.
It is about 13,000 ly away from Earth, and 120 light years in diameter. It can be seen with the naked eye, with an apparent magnitude of 4.1.
47 Tucanae is the second brightest globular cluster after Omega Centauri.

This RGB-image was captured with the ASA500N telescope and FLI PL16803 camera from Telescope Live in El Sauce Observatory, Chile.
Total integration time: 60 minutes
RGB 7:6:7 subs of 180s with each filter.
