Description

M96 belongs to the same class of galaxies of M95, with faint outer arms and a bright core. As such is a quite hard target in terms of exposures, needing them more than the absolute brightness would suggest. The H-alpha shots were added as an afterthought, as I didn't think they would bring any highlight (not with my scale and aperture anyway) and they didn't. Overall I'm quite please as the image turned out and I kind of link it to the nearby M95 in terms of overall rendering, kind of siblings on a cosmic scale.
