This SN was identified during the night of April 5 2021, during which we did a SN search using 125 frames of 2 mn over 125 different regions of the sky. Several hundred galaxies were checked in total.
The SN2021hiz in UGC7513 was then imaged for light curve during the nights of 6, 7, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 29 & 30 of April and 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 12, 14, 15 & 31 of May 2021.
The final image used only the best 262 R, G & B frames of these acquisitions (314 frames in total).
The animation selected 9 nights to show the rise and decline of the SN.
The last animation is a fast summary of this search with the SN showing at the end.
Note that, the file is 80 Mb and takes few seconds to load and the SN can be seen blinking between the night before discovery and the night of the discovery.
These are all raw files (unprocessed).
The sequence was generated automatically from a list of several hundred galaxies in a region observable during the night, using Mathematica.
The output was loaded in SGP under the form of a 125 targets sequence.
The program tried to group galaxies as much as possible and at the same time minimize the mount movement over the night.
