Description

The Eastern veil is even more tenuous and reminds me of torn silk. At 1400 LY this makes up the other side of the Cygnus loop, the remnants of an ancient supernova. Despite taking half the exposures of my image of NGC 6960, I am not sure this image shows any less detail. Processed in Startools using defaults with a little extra (but I hope still subtle) saturation of the lovely colours.
