Description

NGC 4725 is an intermediate barred spiral galaxy about 40 million light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices.

NGC 4725 shows a prominent blueish ring and a yellow central bar structure.

The other two galaxies are NGC 4712 (right of center) and NGC 4747 (upper left). The latter one interacts graviatationally with NGC 4725 which brought her three tidal arms.
