Description

These last couple of nights have been nicely clear, even with the waxing moon rising. I have made a couple of attempts at the Sadr region of Cygnus, and this is my final result. Centering on IC1318, commonly known as The Butterfly, I took care to get sufficient frames and depth for the OIII and SII portions of the image. the Ha frames were used as the Luminosity as well as the Green layer, with the Sulphur asigned to red and Oxygen assigned to blue, as with the Hubble Palette. Some color adjustment to the Ha layer was made with advice from various sources.
