Description

After many frustrating failed attempts, this is my first image using OAG guiding.

The North America Nebula (NGC 7000) is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, close to star Deneb. The remarkable shape of the nebula resembles that of the continent of North America, complete with a prominent Gulf of Mexico.

The Great Wall (also known as Cygnus's Wall) is a term for the "Mexico and Central America part" of the North America Nebula. The Great Wall exhibits the most concentrated star formations in the nebula. The Great Wall is approximately 1,600 light years distant. [Source: adapted from Wikipedia]

Second try at processing this one. This time I used only PixInsight.

Version B employs the DarkStructureEnhance script.

Version C more pixels, smaller stars, stronger deconvolution.
