Description

Wanted to try and go deeper on the Helix by using a focal reducer and 600 s subframes. Much cooler tonight (14 °C) than it has been all summer. Some wind gusts, but pretty good conditions. RA tracking is not great, whereas DEC is pretty good. Usually this is a balance issue. No need to meridian flip on a target this far south. The Helix would probably benefit from some additional Hα, and of course OIII would help but I don't have an OIII filter.
