Description

This target is often overlooked for the more popular targets in this area around the border of Cepheus and Lacerta. Sh2-132 is also known as LBN 473, and the Lion Nebula. The brightest region in the upper left is LBN 471 that is embedded within the much larger LBN 473/Sharpless 132. There is a small open cluster on the left edge known as Berkeley 94. Dark nebulae include LDN 1150, 1154, 1156, 1161, 1163, and TGU H621. There's also two Wolf-Rayet stars in the field.

This info came from a page I found from Jim Thommes on this object. He created a great annotated version that has almost the exact same field as I have here. http://jthommes.com/Astro/images/SH132_MN152_PS4_IP_annotated.jpg

Version C: I finally broke down and ran one iteration of Carboni's Deep Space Noise Reduction. It did have a lot of noise in it. This came from a combination of several factors. I hope people find vC to be better. I hate using noise reduction, but sometimes its needed I guess.
