Description

I swapped out a parabolic primary for the previous mirror which is suspected to be spherical. This is data over two nights - exact same mount and everything else - only the mirror is changed. There's less total exposure time in this than the last images I posted of M13, but even here I can see the differences. Stars are a little smaller, and everything was clearly brighter.

I'll probably return the parabolic to my son's scope and grind out a new mirror as a result of this test. I was expected a bit more dramatic change, but doing unguided imaging might be causing additional star-bloat.
