Description

187x30s  ISO 800 (lens aperture set to f/4): the first 168 with the tracking motor engaged, 
the last 19 with the engine off to obtain static images of the foreground.
The final processing would have had to create, by tilting the field of 45 °, the image
of the Virgo constellation setting behind Monte Carega.
RESULT: 
Only in the first 80 poses are stars perceived (in a field constantly tormented by veils of clouds);
then the stars are replaced, approaching the horizon, by a diffuse glow, which becomes intolerable
with overexposure to building lights... 
"SOLUTION":
The processed image of the first 80 exposures (with the stars) was brought exactly into place 
expected on the occasion of the imminent dive of the M 87 behind Cima Carega and, to the "burned"
image of the static poses mentioned above, was replaced (with a suitable mask!),
the one obtained with a single exposure made at the morning twilight of another day,
exactly from the same location. 
The mountains are located 91 km away from the shooting location.
