Description

Seems to be the most heavily imaged Abell Object on Astrobin.

This supernova remnant known as Abell 85 and as CTB 1 is located in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It is in Abell's catalog of planetary nebulae but later determined to be a supernova remnant .

Complicated processing for me. Did not use the RGB. The color was obtained with the destarred O and HA and using the formula for Teal in O from Rob: OIII data to my green channel data at 72% strength and at 88% strength into blue. HA was R.

This was blurred and the L was from obtained the original HA and O destarred images added in PI using the Max function. The stars added back in.
