Comparsion of total exposuretimes with DSLR

Description

To illustrate, what the effects of long exposuretimes are, i have made a comparsion of stacking 2, 6, 10 and 16 hours.

All four exposuretimes beside in one collage as the final version and as a animation as the old version.

As you can see, there are big differences, between 2, 6 and 10hours.
The 16hour stack is only removing noise und gives finer details in the darker areas.

My conclusion is, that it is very useful to spend 10 hours total exposuretime with a DSLR for those fine detailed objects like Nebulas.
More total exposuretime is useful, but not really required.

The frames where taken with EOS600Da, EF200 at f5, ISO400, 6min per frame.
