**** The Color Version (revison -C-) was added in Photoshop. The color data is from my old M42-IC434 - Orion's Belt and Sword version, from earlier this year (have a look at it @:
http://www.astrobin.com/163993/G/). Please do note that the color was captured with a non-modified camera (exposure 20x180" f/3.5 ISO 800). The image was aligned AUTOMATICALLY in PS, using the Auto-Align Layers command, two iterations to get it correct. Even though it isn't perfect, probably due to the extreme difference in framing, distortions, and arcsec/px between the images.
As I stated above, this image is a result of trying and experiment with other's data, and I just wanted to see how my color would "get along" with such a high quality Luminance. ****

Downloaded for free as their giveaway data on their website. Just wanted to see how I could process the image.
That was my first try with fits files, converted using Fits Liberator and processed in PS CC. Still a lot to learn!!
Imaged by DeepSkyWest team, with a FSQ and QSI683, I believe. Binning 1x1; 10x600s. Cooling at -20ºC.
