Description

First shot ever at this object. Using a ca. 1959 Asahi (Pentax) Takumar 200mm F/3.5 lens at F/5.6. This lens has an 18-blade aperture, so produces extremely nice diffraction spikes around stars. Produces some CA around stars which can be easily cleaned up in post.

The lack of modern multi-coatings is apparent in the blue halo around Deneb (from internal reflections in the lens). Still a nice wide-field astro lens.
