Description

Known as Barnard 175. This nebua is a Bok globule ( a region where dust condenses to form protostars) .

On the left side of the image is the blue reflection nebula, vdB 152.The reflection nebula is illuminated by the bright star embedded within it. In addition, on the top of the picture you can see an ancient planetary nebula.

This image was taken over two nights using a combination of modified and modified Xsi and two different refracto telescopes with similar focal length telescopes mounted together
