Non è stato facile trovare il tempo da dedicare alla sistemazione delle foto scattate durante questa eclisse totale li luna.

L'Italia era caratterizzata da meteo variabile e l'osservazione del fenomeno è stata a macchia di leopardo in tutta la penisola. A Biancavilla siamo stati fortunati (già a 20km il cielo era coperto), anche se gradualmente il cielo si è coperto inseguendo la Luna e compromettendo l'osservazione della parte finale dell'uscita dall'ombra. Poco male visto che a quell'ora iniziava ad albeggiare.

Tutte queste foto sono state realizzate con un Celestron C8 + riduttore WO 0.8X + Canon EOS 550D (T2i). Con la focale di 1600mm la luna era troppo grande per il sensore APS-C, quindi ogni foto è l'unione di 2 scatti.

Ognuna delle foto è composta dalla media variabile tra altri scatti ripresi con differente tempo di posa permettendo tramite selezioni opportune di sostituire le parti bruciate con quelle correttamente esposte.

Era mia intenzione provare a realizzare delle unioni HDR, ma complice probabilemente la mia poca esperienza a riguardo, i risultati non sono stati quelli sperati. Probabilemente invece servirebbe un maggior numero di scatti con pose diverse. Ho dovuto quindi elaborare il pacchetto di scatti manualmente con Photoshop.

It was not easy to find time to devote to the arrangement of the photos taken during this total eclipse of the moon them.

Italy was characterized by variable weather and observation of the phenomenon has been patchy throughout the peninsula. In Biancavilla we were lucky (already in the sky was covered 20km), although gradually, the sky is covered chasing the Moon and compromising the observation of the final output of the shadows. Not bad considering that at that time was beginning to dawn.

All these photos were taken with a Celestron C8 + WO 0.8X reducer + Canon EOS 550D (T2i). With the focal length of 1600mm the moon was too big for the APS-C sensor, so every picture is the union of two shots.

Each of the photos published by the media is made variable with other shots taken with different exposure time by allowing selections appropriate to replace the burned parts with those properly exposed.

It was my intention to try to achieve unions HDR, but aided Presumably my little experience in this regard, the results were not what we expected. Presumably instead it would serve a greater number of shots with different poses. I had to then process the pack shots manually in Photoshop.
