Description

This is the central portion plus part of one "wing" of the Flying Dragon. I could find out almost nothing about it except an estimated distance of 13,000 light years, and that it's very faint. But no angular size, makeup, originating event, etc, and very few images. It really should be done with a wider field telescope, but the AT8RC is what I have at the moment.

In case anyone else would like to try this object the coordinates are RA 21h 21m 08s DEC +38deg 50min 14sec

Version B increased contrast and added a little color to highlight the nebula.
