Description

The adorable Henize 3-1357 planetary nebula is nicknamed the Stingray Nebula due to its shape resembling the stingray fish. It got ionized from the protoplanetary nebula stage quite recently; only about 30 years ago. At only a trillion miles across, it's still big enough to engulf millions of solar systems.
