Description

NGC 1999 is a beautiful reflection nebula in the constellation Orion. This may look like a Bok globule at very first glance but it isn't. In fact, it's literally a hole in space! It was created by fierce stellar winds from hot young massive stars in the nebula. It looks kind of like a small heart. I don't have a whole lot else to say about this.
