Description

HD 184738, nicknamed Campbell's Hydrogen Star is a planetary nebula in the constellation Cygnus. There's nothing else to say really; it's quite interesting this nebula doesn't have a Wikipedia article despite being extensively studied. It's also quite small as viewed on the PC1 chip, but instead of looking something like NGC 6886 with dust lanes it looks more like H2-47 or the Stingray with clear central star. Here are my processing details:

Red: hst_11122_01_wfpc2_f658n_pc_sci.fits

Green: hst_11122_01_wfpc2_f656n_pc_sci.fits

Blue: hst_11122_01_wfpc2_f502n_pc_sci.fits

Apologies for the deep blue stars, since geckzilla didn't say how he reduced the brightness of the bright green stars when he processed NGC 6565 I guess they will have to stay. It doesn't really make too much of a difference anyway. As always the data is from the Hubble Legacy Archive and is dated March 2, 2008.
