Description

Messier 27, the planetary nebula named as "Dumb-bell" because it seems to a weight of weightlifting (¿?), is located on Vulpecula constellation at middle way between Altair (Aql) and Sadir (Cyg). With an angular size of 8x5' to 1.050 light-years, this gas sphere resultant of a nova explosion 6.000 years ago have a real diameter of 3 light-years. Is the planetary nebula most easy to observe, even with small telescopes. In the photo can be see its spherical shape and morphological and chromatic details of its internal structure.
