Description

IC 348 is a star forming region around 1,000 light years away in around the triple star system of Omicron Persei. It consists of a star cluster and surrounding nebula. The cluster is estimated to be around 2 million years old.

This is a two-panel mosaic consisting of data collected between 18 October and 21 November 2020 using an imaging rig in Spain that is privately owned and operated by Barry Wilson and me.
