Description

Here's the other bright planetary in Vul. It's ngc 6842 and it's not as spectacular as M27 but it is interesting enough in it's own way. At mag 13.1 you'll be lucky to see it in the eyepiece - I certainly couldn't. In fact I could barely make out much on 2 minute exposures, so I took 50 and added them together. It's pretty tiny at 53" x 48" but there are a lot of stars in the field of view!

Quite a pretty PN this one, hope you like it. Imaged through my 10" f4.8 Newtonian - 100 minutes exposure.
