Description

This is an experiment of sorts for me to determine whether I can take luminance data at a darker site (grey Bortle 2) and RGB data at my house, which is a red zone. I would have liked to have collected the RGB data at the darker site to compare, but the skies have not played nicely lately. May have to further the experiment next year.

Lum: 12x10min

RGB: 12x5min each

5hrs total

This is also the true first light for my Aspen CG16M as I took the luminance here before I took the full LRGB of my M45, but that is splitting hairs. An overall fun and productive night.

Still am not sure what I am doing with LRGB imaging, especially with colour alignment and optimization of faint large-scale structures, but I think I learn a little more each time I attempt it.
