This is an image produced from partial data, synthesising the green channel, and I produced the image to relieve the endless dreary unbroken cloud and rain that has swept the UK for many weeks.

Captured in one evening, there is insufficient data to do the target justice, but I live in hope that I will get a clear night before Orion disappears behind my neighbour's tree and capture more data.

The green is synthesised from 0.9*B+0.1*R. All told, the accuracy of the image is remarkable really. There was plenty of PixInsight processing to balance the colour tone and control noise in the relatively poor SNR. I've sat on the processing for a while, undecided whether to post or not, but I felt on balance it showed what can be achieved with a little bit of ingenuity and processing patience.
