Description

This is Henize 70 or N70, an expanding bubble of ionized gas that's fueled by supernovae activity and interstellar winds. It can be located near the Large Magellanic Cloud.

This is my first image that I've produced from my ODK10 Dall-Kirkam scope by Orion Optics UK.

Location: Heathcote, Victoria, Australia

Scope: ODK10 by Orion Optics UK. Focal ratio f6.8, focal length 1700mm

Camera: mono QSI583 WSG with a Loadstar X2 off axis guider

Acquisition:

18 x 10 min with Ha 3nm Astrodon filter

Mount: Astro-Physics 1100gto

Camera cooling: -20c
