Description

In this area of the Milky Way in the constellation of Vulpecula, there are some very interesting dark nebulae and uniquely shaped. I had often seen them in astrophotos, so even if the sky conditions were not optimal I wanted to photograph them.

After an exhausting search of acronyms related to the Lynds' Catalogue of Dark Nebulae (LDN) (Lynds 1962) was successful only with the help of my friend Sebastiano Recupero, I found that the objects LDN in this FOV are countless. From left the 1st dark nebula has the initials LDN 795-799-800-803-804-805-806-807; 2nd LDN790-792; 3rd LDN778-779-781-782-783-784; 4th LDN768-769-770-772-773-774-775.

To these must be added some objects NGC and SH2.
