Description

My first attempt at Comet Catalina. Processing all done using ImagePlus6.5, comprising 2 separate sigma median combine runs, one for the comet only (aligned on comet core), the second for the stars TSR aligned on 3 stars. The two resulting images where then blended together with one of the original subs to ensure accurate star/comet alignment. Faint residual star trails can be seen in the background, indicating how far the comet moved over the hour elapsed time during which the sub exposures were taken.
