Description

Two processed image here, one integrated with rejection (PixInsight) to show just the comet. The other with no rejection which shows the comet and trailed stars.

45 subs of 60s each, all registered on the comet.

There is what appears to be a faint third tail between the main dust and gas tails.

I used the PHD2 Comet Tracking tool by training the tracking before the exposure run. This makes it so easy to then take subs with the mount effectively guiding on the comet.
