Description

Piccolomini Crater is about 88 km diamter, located south-east, south of mare nectaris. Compared to other craters, its edge is not well defined, you can perceive that there are terraces on the craters rim. Central peak is quite big compared to the crater floor. The southern rim is quite ruined, as if there had been a landslide.
