Description

NGC 5979 is a tiny planetary nebula in Triangulum Australe. It's very poor in Ha/NII emissions for some reason which is why the whole nebula appears OIII blue and makes the red channel pretty useless. I use just the narrowband filters and a pseudogreen as I find it's a bit easier to work with without scaling the stars in the wideband data.
