Description

Testing a new MPCC flattener with the SW80ED. Shooting at F/D 7.5 with a DSLR is hard.

Not really happy with this flattener, the only good news is that it was not expensive !

Calibration was a chalenge as i'm always fighting with banding coming from the bias frames.

The stacked image is quite noisy for a freezing night @ minus 4°...

Streching the frame was also a hard part as M81 and M82 are very different beast

I drop it here, but i'm not confident that it's a good result.

Version D:

At the end, i leave this background noise. As i feel the balance between objects and background is better this way.

Superbias to the rescue, calibration complete !
