On left is the Cigar Galaxy (M 82): a barred spiral galaxy seen from side, on image can it see at both sides matter filaments ejected because to high rate of supernovaes generated in it. On right, the Bode's Galaxy (M 81) in honor to its discoverer, is one of the most bright spiral galaxies, being perceptible at naked eye from places highly darker; its nucleus is very dense and probably harbor a supermassive black hole.
