      Description

This is a six-frame mosaic. The overlap between the six frames is very large along the east-west direction, so the total FOV is probably only slightly larger than a standard four-frame mosaic. The original image has 125 Mega pixels.

      Bonus track:

Rev. B is a four-frame mosaic image of a wider area made with the Sigma APO 180mmm/F2.8 at F2.8. Each frame has an exposure time of 42 minutes. The camera is also a modified Nikon D800.

Rev C is a two-frame mosaic image of an even wider area made with the Sigma Art 50mm/F1.4 at F4.0. The total exposure time is 1.0 hr. Same camera.

These two wide-field images were used to construct models of the sky gradient in the main mosaic, to achieve a flat background and a seamless mosaic. Feel free to use these images as your finding chart to look for your future imaging targets.

Rev E (final) is a reprocessing in 2020, particularly with the help from starnet++.

The original image has 125 mega pixels. The one uploaded here is a 0.5x reduction. Enjoy.
