Description

Given all the efforts, the result is somewhat disappointing. Processing was a real challenge, since light beams from the nearby star Phekda (γ Ursae Majoris) are spread all over the FOV. I ended up with an extremely flattend background and very little stretching. To be honest, right now this represents all of my processing skills (poor enough), but i just do not want to discard 12+ hours of integration time.

Version B:

Bad weather for weeks nails me down to post processing. This one was tough - still there is a lot of alien light in the background to eliminate, the little Mak is not very suitable for DS photograpy and so on. But with gained experience and skills i was able to do a little better. I used different stacks for background, stars and the galaxy.
