Description

This is an Open Cluster of bluish stars in the constellation of Cancer, named on ancient by Greeks as "Praesepe" (also named as the Beehive). Hipparcos depicted it as a "small cloud" or "cloudy star" that is its look seen at naked eye, until on 1610 Galileo trough your telescope discovered that "it isn't only a star, but a mass of more than 40 small stars" wich is that we can perceive observing it with simple binoculars as is seen in this photo.
