Description

This is a test image to see how effective a f3.6 astrograph is at dealing with very short "nights" near the summer solstice at 54 N. In fact it does not get astronomically dark but there is roughly a 100 minute period when its darker than 19.0 mpsas (magnitude per square arc second).

I used 70+ 90 second exposures to pull out Comet Lovejoy six months after its peak brightness. Not bad
