Description

One of fields more spectacular into the Milky Way in Sagittarius zone. At left is the Lagoon Nebula (M 8), a emission nebula wich contains gas and dust clouds in progress of collapse for make new stars. Superimposed to nebula, is the open cluster NGC6530 with dozens of blue stars very young. At right is the Trifid Nebula (M 20), is another nursery of stars wich shows your bright lobes detached by dark lines of interstellar dust. Moreover of thousands stars disseminated in the field, M 21 highlights at the top right, another open cluster. The brightest star of field (down) is 4-Sagitarii, with 4,8 magnitude.
