Description

The Triangulum Galaxy is a spiral galaxy located in the Triangulum constellation to a distance of 2,8 million light-years, member of Local Group of galaxies with our Milky Way and the nearby Andromeda Galaxy to wich is conected. Discovered by Giovanni Odierna from Sicily before 1654 and by Messier on 1764 and in wich Herschel has cataloged some H II regions of nursery stars, one of these is NGC 604 is one of the greatest known (40 times the Orion Nebula). M 33 can be observed at naked eye in exceptional conditions of visibility, being so the most away object at naked eye, because its great angular size (two moons) and its fuzzy brightness, the best instrument for observe it are a binoculars or a short focal telescope at very low power.
