Description

Is it? Isn't it? Messier's 102 entry. We'll never know for sure. I for one like to think it is. It appears smaller than Stellarium's measurement of 6'x3' arc minutes. Maybe you need Hubble to get that extra bit of dust surrounding the galactic bulge.

Only a few subs in LRGB before dawn ended proceedings for the evening. It's a target I've always wanted to image but there has always been better targets on offer. Now I've seen the colour version, I will gather more subs to do this small Messier object a bit more justice.
