Description

The ASA N10 working at f3.6 is proving itself under UK skies as its able to suck in lots of photons in short periods of available dark sky. In this case I used it to grab 1.5 hours worth between end of twilight and moonrise for session 1 and then 2.6 hours worth a few nights later for session 2.

Nights are getting really short in the UK during April and May and the decrease on dark sky time in early May is rapid! Tonight it will be astronomically dark for 3.5 hours starting around 23:15 BST and dawn kicks in 03:45 BST - 54N ain't conducive to summer time imaging and we miss a lot of good stuff up here.
