Description

Web browser (FIREFOX) tends to saturate reds. If you are interested in downloading my original:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxvn0gu9jsjy4he/NGC7000_229B.jpg?dl=0 (of course open in anything other than a browser) to see what I mean. I wasn't aware of this before so perhaps the browser has been modified recently? This may explained why some had thought that ASTROBIN's image quality has worsened since the beginning of the year.

Well, with clear skies, I had to try this DSO favorite again. I mixed relatively low and high ISO with short subs (unguided). I think this new attempt turned out pretty good. Comments welcomed.

Version "B" adds 85 subs. Seems like when I go over 300 subs, the noise level drops considerably.

Version "C" was rotated to the more familiar orientation. However, I have to confess that I have no idea how I post-processed this brighter and more saturated version. :-)

Version "D" is a 2 panel mosaic with the top half redone to better the original image of spherical abberation. My goal is to create a large mosaic of Cygnus during the summer months. This is the first of hopefully many updated.
