Takahashi TOA-130NS on a 10Micron GM2000HPS

This was a session to test out a recently acquired second-hand Takahashi TOA 130NS with the mount that it will be used on in Southern Spain (hopefully)

As a temporary test I used a Canon 450D camera and a Televue REF3007 field flattener/reducer to capture a first light image for assessment.

The Televue REF3007 was not optimised for this scope (coma in corners and reintroduction of colour aberations) so I will be acquiring the Takahashi x0.75 reducer as well as adding an Optec Gemini focuser/rotator and attaching a QSI 683 camera with a filter wheel and OAG. Further testing is planned for the next few months to fully shake down scope/camera automation. The local controlling computer is an Intel NUC.
