Description

This is a photo of the area around Sh2-115 in Cygnus (The Swan), which includes Sh2-116 (round little nebula at the top-left), just North of Sh2-112 (see this other photo in my blog which nearly touches this one: http://astronomiajn.blogspot.com.es/2013/12/sharpless-112-y-kokopelli.html) and not far from Deneb, alpha-Cygni. Total of 20 hours of exposure in 10 minutes subframes. It is interesting that Sh2-116 is sometimes considered a planetary nebula, in others just a piece of hydrogen emission nebula. But in SIMBAD astronomical database it is still catalogued as planetary.
